Live in 5 minutes

  1. Download, install and run the DigiWaiter Server
     (choose unblock if requested by Windows Firewall).
  2. Write down the IP address of the pc running the server
    (Choose Start-Run-CMD -> OK and type IPCONFIG -> Enter in the DOS box)
  3. Download, install and run the Desktop Client on another PC and goto Tools - Options
    Options
  4. Click the Connect icon to connect to the server.

 

Please note: the DigiWaiter Server and Desktop
Client require the Microsoft .NET 2.0

The PDA version requires the Microsoft
.NET 2.0 Compact Framework

The PDA client asks me for a password on exit? PDF Print E-mail

The idea behind this was that you don't want your employees to use the pda as e.g. a MP3 player / don't want them to mess around with it.

If you put the digiwaiter PDA POS client in the startup menu it runs in 'kiosk mode' (they cannot do anything else) when you want to exit it asks for a password.

The password's just s (as in simon) since we are reconsidering this feature..
