Scan4Cover Help
Working with Scan4Cover is really quiet simple, first start by putting a cd in the
drive (or scan your local disks if you want to).
If you want to scan picture files for instance, change the Filter in the lower right
corner to .jpg or another picture format.
You can also type in an extension which is not listed!
There are other serveral setting you can change here, Add Linefeed will
(remarkably) add a linefeed after every file.
Choose the drive you want and press "Scan Disk" or just Drag and Drop the files
from the file list in the lower right corner to the Listview in the center of the
screen.
If the scanning proces is finished you might want to number the files or rearrange
them (drag and drop them in the listview).
Now it's time to get the files on you cd cover:
- Select the files with your mouse (Ctrl-A for all files) and right click the mouse,
choose Send to front / Send to Back / Send to inside or Divide2theMax!
You can also do this by pressing the B-F-I or D buttons on the right side of the
screen. Divide2theMax will try to place your files 1) on the front, 2) on the
back and if there are still some left 3) on the inside of the cd cover.
If you are done here you can proceed to the Title Tab
Enter the title you want and choose the picture you want to go with that
('Change Picture'), if you don't want a picture just press the 'Clear Picture'
button.
Format and align the title anyway you want to!
On the Front / Back and Inside Tabs you can view and format the result.
Keep in mind that by changing the font and fontsize some of the files might
be 'pushed over the edge' of the cover....
With the 'Remove' button you can cut out things you don't want to print,
if for instance every file starts with 'picture of' Joey.jpg - picture or
grandpa.jpg - picture of dog.jpg you can remove the 'picture of' part!
If you are satisfied with the results choose print to ....
Set the box type and choose which covers you want to print, et voila!
